HUNGER  |  5th Grade

Hunger journeys expose students to the needs of our local community. Students will serve and minister in many ways including through the Houston Food Bank, local food pantries, Meals on Wheels, Spring & Northwest Assistance Ministries, and local churches.

COST

$175

Cost incudes transportation, lunches, activities, and supplies. 

ACCOMODATIONS

These journeys are DAY TRIPS.  Students will meet at Faithbridge in the morning for a study and briefing, then head out onto their daily schedule.  They will return to Faithbridge to debrief the day and be picked up by their parents. 

SITE & PARTNERS

As day trips, the daily schedule for the Hunger journeys will vary.  They will be serving directly with Houston Food Bank, other local food pantries, Meals on Wheels, Spring Assistance Ministries, Northwest Assistance Ministries, and several local churches.

SPENDING MONEY

Students will NOT need any spending money.
